Logistics Definition

For our purposes, we view Logistics as the study and implementation of supporting physical systems for the activities required to identify, obtain, relocate, store, and dispense a tangible item to, from, and through the market place. Therefore, we consider Inspection, Purchasing, Transportation, Marketing, Warehousing, and Reclamation functions within Logistics.
